Why Nestizer

Built for real production

Everything you need to turn a pile of parts into a cutting-ready sheet — and nothing to pay or sign up for.

Free, no account

Every mode, preset and export unlocked on first open. No e-mail, no card, no trial limit.

Runs in your browser

Layouts are computed locally. Your dielines, DXF and SVG files never get uploaded to a server.

Guillotine-cuttable

Every layout separates on a guillotine — straight, edge-to-edge cuts, drawn as the exact cutting program.

Multi-format optimisation

Add several sheet formats and Nestizer fills the one that wastes the least material, up to how many of each you have.

Identical-sheet runs

Repeat one layout on every sheet to cut a whole run in a single cutter setup — or mix formats for the tightest fit.

Stats & export

Live per-sheet parts, utilisation, waste and material — then export a per-sheet SVG or a full multi-page PDF guide.

How it works

From parts to cutting layout in four steps

No manual, no setup. Type or upload, and the layout is ready to cut.

1

Set your sheets

Pick one or more formats from the presets, or type your own — in millimetres or inches.

2

Add your parts

Enter rectangle sizes and quantities (or upload a DXF / SVG), set one part margin and lock rotation where it matters.

3

Auto-layout

Nestizer packs a tight, guillotine-cuttable layout in milliseconds and maps the leftover as reusable offcuts.

4

Export

Download a per-sheet SVG, or a multi-page PDF guide with a job summary and every layout to scale.

Use cases

Made for packaging & cut-to-shape work

Wherever parts get cut out of a flat sheet, tighter nesting means less waste and lower cost.

Folding-carton & corrugated blanks

Gang up dielines and blanks on the sheet before die-cutting to squeeze the run.

Print imposition

Cards, labels, inserts and leaflets — imposed with clean margins for the guillotine.

Laser, CNC & die-cut parts

Nest irregular DXF outlines with the rotations and spacing tuned to the cutter.

Sticker & label sheets

Fill A-series or roll widths with die-cut stickers and kiss-cut labels.

Foam inserts & lozements

Lay out cavities and inserts across foam or board sheets with minimal offcut.

Samples & short runs

Check how many parts land on a sheet — and the material — before you commit a run.

FAQ

Good to know

Is it really free?

Yes. Every mode, preset and export is unlocked from the first open — no account, no trial, no card.

Do my files get uploaded anywhere?

No. The layout runs entirely in your browser. Your dielines, DXF and SVG files never leave your device.

What is guillotine-cuttable mode?

Every rectangular layout separates with straight, edge-to-edge cuts — exactly how a guillotine cutter works. Nestizer draws the full cutting program and maps the leftover material as the largest possible rectangles, so nothing is laser-only and offcuts are easy to reuse.

Can I use several sheet sizes at once?

Yes. Add multiple sheet formats and Nestizer fills the one that wastes the least material each sheet, within the quantity you have of each. Prefer one setup? Switch on “Identical sheets” to repeat a single layout across the whole run.

How do margins work?

One “part margin” controls the whole layout: parts sit two margins apart and one margin from the sheet edge, keeping every cut guillotine-straight. Work in millimetres or inches.

Can I lock rotation?

Yes, per part. Allow rotation for a tighter fit, or lock a part to keep grain, flute or print direction aligned.

What can I import and export?

Import DXF and SVG for complex shapes. Rectangular mode exports a per-sheet SVG and a full multi-page PDF cutting guide; true-shape mode exports the nested SVG.

How tight is the nesting?

Rectangular mode uses a recursive guillotine packer for clean, cuttable grids. True-shape mode runs an iterative nester that rotates and interlocks real outlines — far tighter than bounding boxes.
